Medical review policy
Health content on OpenDoc is reviewed by licensed clinicians. This page explains who reviews it, what a review covers, and how reviewed pages are marked.
What a medical review covers
A review checks the clinical accuracy of the page's health statements, the plain-language framing of conditions and procedures, and the methodology behind any pricing context shown. Reviewed pages carry a visible "Medically reviewed by" byline with the reviewer's name and the date of the most recent review. Pages without a byline have not yet been through a review pass.
Pricing on OpenDoc is never part of the clinical review: posted prices come directly from providers, and a price range shown for context is not a quote — the posted price at booking is the single, final price.
