Dr. Petersen is an orthopaedic and neurospine surgical specialist with over twenty years in operative clinical practice. After medical school graduation in 1990, Dr. Petersen served in the U.S. Army as a combat aviation brigade flight surgeon, as well as with NASA in support of flight shuttle missions. Dr. Petersen’s Spinal Surgery sub-specializations are inclusive of microsurgical techniques, complex spinal revision and evaluation and repair of failed previous surgery. His most proud accomplishments are his three now adult, independent and employed daughters. In his spare time he enjoys cooking, the great outdoors, and travelling. Dr. Petersen is a great choice and does a very thorough job. He takes time to listen and provides sound feedback. The wait time is never long and his staff is courteous as well.
