Dr. Peljovich graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at Case Western Reserve University and a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at Harvard University/Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Boston Children’s Hospital. He completed an additional fellowship in the surgical restoration of the tetraplegic hand and upper extremity at MetroHealth Medical Center. Dr. Peljovich also holds a master’s degree in public health from Emory University. He is board-certified in orthopedics and holds a Certificate of Added Qualification for Surgery of the Hand. Dr. Peljovich served as Chief of the Orthopedic Surgery Section at Northside Hospital, and he currently serves as the Medical Director of the Hand & Upper Extremity Program at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, continues as one of the founding surgeons to the Brachial Plexus Clinic at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, and is a consulting surgeon for the Limb Deficiency Clinic of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta/Scottish Rite. He is also co-Division Chief of Hand Surgery for the Atlanta Medical Center Orthopedic Residency and has previously been honored as a ‘Clinical Instructor of the Year.’ Dr. Peljovich has authored various publications and chapters on topics concerning problems affecting the hand and upper extremity. He was recently honored for his work with his election into the American Orthopaedic Association. He has been named an Atlanta magazine ‘Top Doc’ for the past several years.
